Zhambei T. Management of information flows of business processes at enterprises.

The topic of the dissertation is the management of information flows of business processes at enterprises. There is no doubt about the relevance of the topic because a lot of scientists have proven that in modern conditions information has a decisive influence on the activity of the enterprise. In the dissertation, the concept of "business processes" and their influence on information flows were investigated, the main business processes and their information flows were identified using the example of wholesale trade enterprises, namely planning of goods movement, resource process, warehouse process, accounting and enterprise management process, product sales process, performance of service logistics functions. The essence of the concept of "information flows of business processes" as an object of management was revealed and the classification of information flows was supplemented with the following features: depending on business processes (using the example of wholesale trade), according to the degree of organization of the components of the information flow; by belonging to certain systems; by the nature of the action; for the purpose of information; according to the form of information; by type of information. The quality of economic information is determined as a defining characteristic of information that affects the management of information flows of business processes of the enterprise, and the characteristics of the quality of economic information are proposed, namely: completeness, accuracy, reliability, materiality, complexity, confidentiality, mobility, sustainability, relevance, credibility, feedback, comprehensibility, timeliness, uniformity and relevance. The system-process approach was determined to be the most appropriate for the management of information flows of business-processes, which combines the advantages of process and system approaches. A conceptual model of management of information flows of business processes at enterprises has been built, which combines system and process approaches, has a subject and an object of management, principles, tasks, goals, functions, tools, methods and management criteria. The main scientific and methodological approaches to the management of information flows of business processes at enterprises were analyzed, namely traditional, complex, indicator (threshold), statistical, multidimensional and other methods, advantages and disadvantages of the main methods for evaluating information flows were highlighted, the importance of a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods for evaluating the information flows of business processes of the enterprise was identified. Four component evaluations of information flow management were defined: information, financial, personnel and information security, which have been characterized by 16 indicators and characterize the management of information flows of business processes. Indicators and indicators for evaluating the management of information flows of business processes at enterprises have been formed based on the methods of qualitative parameterization and the main components that combine the advantages of quantitative and qualitative methods. The state and prospects for the development of Ukrainian wholesale trade enterprises in modern conditions were studied, the general development trends of metal and metal ore wholesale trade enterprises in Ukraine were summarized and systematized, and a PEST analysis was carried out to determine the main political, economic, social and technological factors that can affect the development of this field of activity. The implementation of the proposed approach to the management of information flows of business processes was carried out using the method of main components and qualitative parameterization, which made it possible to reduce the level of subjectivity that characterizes qualitative assessment methods. The integral indicator of management of information flows of business processes was calculated, which made it possible to carry out a rating evaluation of a group of 7 enterprises of wholesale trade in metals and metal ores and to provide practical recommendations for an outsider enterprise on improving the level of management of information flows of business processes. The results of the dissertation are of practical importance, as its conclusions and recommendations can be used by enterprises, state authorities and local self-government to improve the level of management of information flows of the enterprise's business processes, which, in conclusion, will lead to an increase in the profitability, competitiveness and attractiveness of enterprises.
